Matri eases pressure on Juventus

Juventus forward Alessandro Matri believes AC Milan are favourites heading into Saturday’s highly anticipated Serie A encounter at San Siro.

The Old Lady have already defeated the reigning champions twice in the 2011-12 campaign, but Matri believes that the Rossoneri are in prime position to grab the full three points on Saturday evening.

“Milan are still the favourites in my opinion, but we are growing in confidence. We will attack them right from the start,” Matri said.

The former Cagliari star said he has no idea yet whether he will be part of the starting XI.

“I don’t know yet whether I will start or (Marco) Borriello. We will find out at the stadium who starts,” he said.

The 27-year-old Matri has so far scored nine goals in 21 Serie A appearances this term.
