Mauro Icardi set for Inter Milan stay

La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Argentine striker Mauro Icardi is unlikely to move clubs at the end of the season.

The 25-year-old is widely regarded as one of world’s most prolific strikers and he is believed to be on the radar of Real Madrid among other clubs.

However, Icardi is reportedly quite happy at Inter Milan and he should soon sign a new deal at Stadio San Siro.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the striker has agreed in principle a new contract until June 2023 that will be worth between €7m and €8m per campaign.

Mauro Icardi is enjoying another impressive campaign at Stadio San Siro, and already has 22 goals in 24 Serie A matches.
