Djamel Mesbah appears to be on his way out of AC Milan with CEO Adriano Galliani confirming the club are in talks with Palermo over a transfer.

The Algeria international joined Milan from Lecce in the January transfer window, but has since been unable to make an impact at the Rossoneri.

Therefore, the 2011 Serie A champions are ready to cash in on Mesbah again, and Palermo are keen to lure the 27-year-old to Sicily.

“Negotiations are taking place with Palermo over Mesbah,” Galliani told Sky Sport Italia.

“If we indeed sell him this summer, we will not bring in a replacement for him.”

Mesbah has a contract with Milan until June 2016.
