AC Milan are interested in signing three Chelsea players, namely Cesc Fabregas, Gary Cahill and Andreas Christensen, according to the Mirror.
Once considered indispensable members of a title-winning Chelsea side, Fabregas and Cahill have become squad players under manager Maurizzio Sarri. The former Napoli boss brought Jorginho with him from the Italian club, and even went as far as changing the role of N’Golo Kante in the line-up to accommodate the Brazil-born Italy international. He also signed Mateo Kovačić on loan from Real Madrid, and thus completed his three-man midfield with no place for Fabregas.
Sarri also prefers the duo of Antonio Rudiger and David Luiz at the heart of defence, and like Fabregas, he has reduced both Cahill and Christensen to peripheral roles.
Meanwhile, Milan are trying to build a side capable of regularly qualifying for the Champions League and they’re prepared to offer the unhappy trio a way out of Stamford Bridge.
