Modric hopeful of Bale staying at Real

Stories surrounding Bale’s future at the Santiago Bernabeu have been like a roller coaster, constantly changing directions, but it seems rather obvious that neither the winger himself, of head coach Zinedine Zidane, want the situation to drag on. Various reports throughout the summer indicated that Real were ready to sell, but no suitor came in with an offer to match his current wages, which proved a problem bigger than the transfer fee.

The Wales captain was forced to stay at the club and Zidane was forced to count him in again, but it didn’t take long for the issue to rise up again. Now it’s being claimed that he has already decided that he wants to leave.

But Modric obviously hopes Bale will change his mind. The Croatian midfielder described him as an amazing and very important player for the Real Madrid team.
