Inter president Massimo Moratti has dismissed rumours he is looking to sell the Serie A club.

Reports had surfaced that the 68-year-old is in talks with Indonesian businessman Erick Thohir over a potential buy-out.

But Moratti insists he is not looking to relinquish control of the club.
“I think there are too many rumours around,” he told the club’s official website.
“I read these and usually 90 percent of what’s reported is untrue.
“No (we’re not selling a majority of the club), we’re discussing something entirely different. It’s not decisive. It will be if Inter stands to gain substantially from it, if the club doesn’t, we’ll leave it.
“As I’ve said, I’ve read a lot in the papers that I don’t believe, in reality, is true. But I don’t think the next few days will be key.”
Inter had a poor season on the pitch after suffering an injury crisis, eventually finishing in ninth position.
That performance led to Andrea Stramaccioni’s departure, with former Napoli manager Walter Mazzarri replacing him.
