Napoli agree deal for Zinedine Machach

French daily newspaper L’Equipe claims that Napoli have agreed a deal to sign French midfielder Zinedine Machach.

The 21-year-old had his contract with Toulouse terminated in September after a clash with reserve coach Denis Zanko and he has since been searching for a new club.

While he also received a proposal from Greek giants Olympiakos, Machach has now been offered a long-term deal by Serie A leaders Napoli.

The Azzurri decided to offer him a contract after scouting him for a couple of years and latest reports suggest the youngster will soon become a Napoli player.

Machach will then be loaned out to another Italian club in order to adapt to the new league before challenging for starting positions at Stadio San Paolo next season.
