It is no secret that the Azzurri plan to add a high-quality centre forward to the squad despite the fact that Roberto Inglese could soon return to the club.
Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri has asked the club officials to sign him a new striker as soon as possible as he wants to ensure the team remain on course for the Serie A trophy.
According to reports, Napoli have set their sights on Bologna starlet Simone Verdi and they are reportedly prepared to offer €25 million for his services.
The 25-year-old has been in high demand after an excellent start to the season, with Inter Milan also hot on his trail.
