Newcastle are prepared to offer Tino Livramento a new six-year contract that would place him among the club’s highest earners, in a bid to secure his long-term future.
The versatile full back, capable of playing on both flanks, is currently under contract until 2028 but has been linked with a potential move to Manchester City this summer.
Following a turbulent summer marked by speculation over forward Alexander Isak, Newcastle are determined to end any further uncertainty regarding one of their standout players. They want to reward Livramento’s growing stature with a fresh long-term deal.
According to The Times, the proposed contract would see Livramento join the club’s top wage bracket. Signed from Southampton two years ago in a transfer potentially rising to £40 million, he is reportedly eager to improve the terms of his original five-year agreement, signed before he displaced England international Kieran Trippier early last season.
Livramento later switched to left back due to an injury to Lewis Hall and has since emerged as one of the Premier League’s best fullbacks.
