Caen youngster M’Baye Niang is delighted by his imminent transfer to AC Milan and is determined to prove his worth with the Serie A giants.

The 17-year-old arrived in Italy on Monday evening ahead of his proposed move to Milan and is expected to complete his switch in the coming 24 hours.

“I have made a big dream come true by joining Milan,” Niang told Tuttomercatoweb.

“Now it’s up to me to prove that I’m good enough to be in this great club.”

The promising youngster has been likened to former Arsenal star Thierry Henry due to his style of play, but Niang said he cannot be compared to anyone.

“Am I the new Henry? I don’t like comparisons: Henry is Henry, and Niang is Niang,” he said.

Niang is a product of the Caen youth academy and made his official first team debut in April 2011.
