(GSM) – Keisuke Honda’s agent has denied that the Japan midfielder could be set to join Liverpool for £10million.
Honda, who joined CSKA Moscow from Dutch club VVV, has impressed in the Russian Premier League since his arrival in January of last year.
The 24-year-old’s agent, Kees Ploegsma, insists his client has not received offers from Liverpool or any other club.
“There is nothing, these are just rumours,” Ploegsma told calciomercato.it.
“The situation is quiet. To date, there is no offer for Keisuke from Liverpool, nor from other teams.
“The player has a contract with CSKA Moscow (until 2013) and is now on vacation.”
When asked about interest in Honda from Arsenal and Milan, Ploegsma replied:”They are all great clubs but, I repeat, we are not in contact with anyone.”
