November 17th: Friday’s EURO 24 Qualyfying Double – 4/1 Special, Tips & Predictions

With the EURO 24 qualifiers stealing all of this weekend’s headlines, we have a heavyweight schedule from across the continent on our hands.

So, for those of you who are looking to stick on a Friday night flutter, we have found a couple of European Championship betting markets that are worth keeping an eye out for.

19:45 England vs Malta

While England might have suffered World Cup frustration out in Qatar last winter as they eventually had to settle for a quarter-final finish, the Three Lions have enjoyed a major qualifying romp this year. Already cruising their way to EURO 24, the European giants are already tipped as a leading contender when they arrive in Germany.

Mustering 16 points from their six Group C showdowns this year and largely not having to get out of third gear, Gareth Southgate’s men are simply looking to keep up their recent charge here.

Signing off October’s international break with a 3-1 victory against bitter rivals Italy, England will be calling on their record-breaking skipper to spearhead their charge at Wembley.

Enjoying what has been an astonishing start to life with German giants Bayern Munich, former Tottenham striker Harry Kane has remarkably bagged 21 goals in just his first 15 appearances across all competitions this season.

Bagging a 4-0 win when they last met Friday’s guests for their reverse Group C battle back on June 16th, Kane and co will undeniably be smelling a major opportunity this weekend.

While Malta might have always been tipped as a landslide Group C underdog this year, the Reds have continued on a nightmare qualifying rut.

Signing off October’s round of fixtures with a 3-1 loss at home against Ukraine, Michele Marcolini’s side are yet to put a single point on the board from any of their seven qualifying appearances.

Losing those seven outings by an aggregate score of 18-2, Malta will be more than aware that they face a monumental challenge when they travel to Wembley on Saturday night.

19:45 Italy vs North Macedonia

Marking their return to qualifying duties on Friday night sat outside the top-two in Group C, it is no secret that Italy face a must-win showdown on Friday night. Signing off October’s international break with a deserved 3-1 defeat against England on foreign soil, the Azzurri will certainly be excited to make a return to Rome here.

With plenty of pressure on their shoulders over the next fortnight as they look to punch a crucial major tournament return, Luciano Spalletti’s side should take some solace from their continued success on home soil.

Last seen in front of their own supporters claiming a routine 4-0 victory against Malta on October 14th, the former Napoli boss has seen his squad win four of their previous five showdowns on home soil.

With time starting to tick away, Italy will be calling on Atalanta ace Gianluca Scamacca to lead their qualifying charge this weekend.

Bagging what turned out to be a consolation strike at Wembley last month, the ex-West Ham striker also entered November’s international break with three goals in his final four appearances for La Dea.

On the flip side, while North Macedonia might have snatched a stellar 1-1 stalemate when they welcomed Italy to Skopje back on September 9th, Saturday’s guests will be bracing themselves for a heavyweight challenge here.

Firmly sat in Group C limbo, the Lions have won just a pair of their six qualifying appearances this year and they have gained a reputation for their inconsistencies.

Likewise, including a 7-0 drumming when they travelled to England back in June, Blagoja Milevski’s men have lost four of their last five showdowns on foreign soil.
