November 26th: Sunday’s European Accumulator – 6/1

While many of Europe’s elite will soon take a winter break, Sunday’s promises a string of heavyweight affairs from across the continent.

With a host of blockbuster showdowns from the likes of La Liga and the Premier League, we have found a trio of interesting betting markets that are available throughout Sunday.

Sunday, November 26th

BST 12:00 Aberdeen vs Rangers

While Rangers might find themselves facing a real uphill battle if they are to dethrone Celtic this season, Sunday’s guests mark their return from November’s international break riding a major wave of momentum. Only continuing to shine since they appointed new boss Philippe Clement last month, the Scottish heavyweights will be looking to make another statement here. Heading into the fortnight interval with a deserved 2-0 victory away at Livingston, the former Monaco manager should find the mood around Ibrox at a continued high. Sat in pole position to punch a Europa League knockout stage ticket this season, Rangers have won each of their last five appearances across all formats by an aggregate score of 14-3. In fact, with their recent purple patch highlighted by a 5-0 romp against Dundee on November 1st, Clement’s high-flying squad have collected 22 points from their previous eight contests. Simply looking to make up some ground in the title chase this weekend, the Blues will be smelling the chance to cash in on an Aberdeen squad who find themselves in the midst of a public struggle. Heading into November’s international break with a woeful 6-0 drumming at the hands of Celtic, Sunday’s hosts have come under a huge amount of scrutiny this season. Scrapping it out at the foot of the top-flight standings and already watching their Europa Conference League adventure come to an early end after failing to win any of their first four appearances, we are backing what could be an enjoyable away victory this weekend.

Tip: Rangers win & Over 1.5 goals @ 19/20

12:00 Nice vs Toulouse

Although Nice might have opened up the 2023/24 campaign in the midst of a real struggle, Francesco Farioli’s side have come roaring back in some style. Skyrocketing their way up the Ligue 1 standings and marking their return from the fortnight interval sat just a single point adrift of defending champions PSG, Sunday’s guests will certainly be looking to make another statement here. With their stellar flurry highlighted by a 2-0 victory against Rennes when opening November, Nice have gained a fearsome reputation for their continued defensive steal. In fact, on what has become a remarkable run, the Eaglets have not shipped a single strike in any of their last seven straight showdowns across all formats – a run that stems all the way back to a 3-2 victory against PSG on September 15th. While Toulouse might have sprung a major Europa League upset earlier win the month as they secured a stunning 3-2 victory against Premier League giants Liverpool, Sunday’s guests have continued to show a string of domestic issues. Battling it out at the foot of the Ligue 1 standings and holding just a one-point buffer from slipping into the drop zone, the Violets have recorded just a single top-flight win since way back on October 1st. Given what has been a huge recent gulf in class, we are expecting a home victory for the title outsiders this weekend.

Tip: Nice win & Under 4.5 goals @ 4/5

20:00 Real Betis vs Las Palmas

While Real Betis might have entered November’s international break with a 1-1 stalemate away at Sevilla, Manuel Pellegrini’s side are enjoying another stellar La Liga flurry. With their sights firmly set on mounting a genuine top-four charge this time around, Sunday’s hosts are remarkably unbeaten in each of their previous 12 straight appearances across all formats. With their extended purple patch stemming all the way back to September 1st, the former Manchester City boss will also be excited by Betis’ continued success on home soil. Last seen in front of their own supporters storming their way to a 4-1 romp against Cypriot outfit Aris Limassol, it should be noted that Pellegrini’s men have won each of their previous five contests at the Estadio Benito Villamarin by an aggregate score of 13-3. However, despite marking their return this weekend sat just a single point adrift of breaking back into the European spots, Betis should face a stern challenge here. While Las Palmas might have only made their La Liga return this season, the Yellows have continued to gain a string of plaudits. Battling it out in the top-half of the table and losing just one of their previous seven domestic appearances across all fronts, Sunday’s guests should also be excited by their continued success on the road. Including a famous 2-1 win away at Villarreal on October 8th, Garcia Pimienta’s side have collected seven points from their previous three top-flight contests outside of Gran Canaria.

Tip: Both teams to score @ 1/1
