Odsonne Edouard set for permanent Celtic switch

Radio Monte Carlo is reporting that Paris Saint-Germain starlet Odsonne Edouard will be joining Glasgow Celtic on permanent basis.

The youngster joined Bhoys on loan with an option to buy last summer and went on to impress in his debut campaign, scoring 9 goals in just 11 league starts.

Manager Brendan Rodgers has been largely impressed with the talented Frenchman and he has instructed the club officials to trigger the buy-out clause, believed to be in the region of €10 million.

This means that Paris Saint-Germain will lose yet another hot prospect, but at least they will receive a good compensation to help avoid FIFA Financial Fair Play sanctions.

Odsonne Edouard had never made a single competitive appearance for the Saints, but he did score once in 16 Ligue 1 outings for Toulouse.
