Bayern Munich striker Ivica Olic and Aston Villa midfielder Stephen Ireland are negotiating moves to the MLS, according to reports.

Goal.com reports Croatian international Olic is in talks to sign a deal with Seattle Sounders, while New York Red Bulls are looking to add Ireland to their squad.

The Sounders have spent several seasons trying to find a forward to pair with Colombian striker Fredy Montero.

With his contract ending at the end of the season, Olic will be free to move to any club that he chooses on July 1.

Ireland has two years left on his contract at Villa Park, and the Republic of Ireland international would give Red Bulls coach Hans Backe a creative outlet in midfield.

Ireland has scored 17 goals over his seven-year career in the Premier League with Manchester City and Aston Villa.

Backe and Ireland previously worked together during the Swedish coach’s one-year stint at Manchester City as an assistant manager during the 2007/08 season.
