Hedwiges Maduro has left Sevilla to sign a two-and-a-half-year contract with PAOK.
The versatile Dutchman, who has won 22 caps for his country and appeared at the 2006 FIFA World Cup, has been frozen out at Sevilla this season under coach Unai Emery.
Maduro started his career with Ajax, where he twice won the KNVB Cup, and joined Sevilla following a spell at Valencia that included a Copa del Rey triumph.
The 28-year-old is primarily a defensive midfielder but can also play centre-back.
He joins a PAOK outfit managed by compatriot Huub Stevens, who has guided them to second in the Greek Super League after 18 matches.
