Paris Saint-Germain do not want to sell Barcelona target Carlos Soler

Barcelona are interested in signing Carlos Soler from Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window, according to Sport. However, PSG head coach Luis Enrique is ready to block a potential transfer and wants Soler to be part of his team for the time being.

Soler has been on the books of PSG since the summer of 2022 when he joined from Spanish club Valencia. The 26-year-old made 14 starts and 12 substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for PSG last season, scoring three goals and providing two assists in those games. The Spain international scored one goal and provided two assists in nine Ligue 1 matches this campaign.

Barcelona are third in the La Liga table at the moment with 30 points from 13 matches, four points behind leaders Girona. Meanwhile, PSG currently find themselves at the top of Ligue 1 table with 27 points from 12 matches, a point clear of Nice in second.
