Paris Saint-Germain are preparing an assault on Napoli star Marek Hamsik, France Football reveals.
The Saints are already identifying their winter targets and they are eager to bring the Slovakin midfielder to Parc des Princes.
According to France Football, club’s sporting director Leonardo will enter the talks with Napoli and the player’s representatives within the next two weeks.
The Azzurri plan to keep Hamsik at the club at least until the summer, but if they fail to make it to Champions League knockout stages, they could decide to sell him in January.
Paris Saint-Germain are hoping to pair Hamsik with Javier Pastore at Parc des Princes, as they are looking to add more creativity to the centre of the park.
The Saints are also ready to enter negotiations for Napoli striker Edison Cavani and Udinese centre-back Mehdi Benatia.
