Porto coach Vitor Pereira failed to hide his disappointment with the reigning champions’ 0-0 draw against Sporting Lisbon on Saturday.
Pereira stressed that the Oporto outfit had set their sights on the full three points in the Liga Sagres fixture – adding that he therefore could not be satisfied with the outcome of the away match.
“We came here with the intention of taking the three points and we managed just one, so I can’t be satisfied,” said Pereira.
“It was a fair result in an open game. It was not a great match, but it was an intense one.”
Porto currently sit on top of the table with 34 points from 14 games and are on a 53-game unbeaten run in the league.
They hold a one-point lead over Benfica, but the Lisbon giants have a game in hand.
Sporting Lisbon are the league’s number three with 28 points from 14 games.
