“Players come and go” – Crystal Palace chairman on keeping Marc Guehi and Eberechi Eze after Community Shield triumph (Video)

Crystal Palace have been fighting on several fronts. Some battles are won – they beat Liverpool in the Community Shield on Sunday, some are lost – they’ve lost their appeal to play in the Europa League and will compete in the Conference League as a result, and some are still ongoing – sorting the futures of in-demand star players.

Asked about the importance of keeping the likes of Marc Guehi and Eberechi Eze for the upcoming season, chairman Steve Parish was far from reassuring.
