Midfielder Andrea Poli says he is happy at Inter Milan, and wants to stay at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza for many more years.
Poli, 22, joined Inter from Sampdoria in August 2011 on a one-year loan deal, with an option to make the move permanent at the end of the season.
“It’s an exciting feeling to pull on the Inter shirt and I hope to be able to do it for many years,” Poli told the club’s television channel.
“San Siro is wonderful with the fans who are always behind us and I want to thank them for welcoming me here.”
“I like Inter because it’s a club that wants to win things. I felt comfortable here right from the start, especially with president (Massimo) Moratti. He’s a very intelligent person and someone you take to immediately, a great man.”
“I get on well with all the players, I really do, although there’s obviously a stronger bond with the players I knew at Sampdoria.”
Poli made four Serie A appearances for Inter so far in 2011/12.
