After a well-deserved draw against Arsenal, Wolverhampton travel to struggling Bolton in an English Premier League relegation six-pointer.

Wolves battled to a 1-1 draw at Emirates Stadium and will be missing midfielder Nenad Milijas against Bolton after the Serbian got sent off in the second half.

Kevin Doyle was rested against Arsenal as Mick McCarthy chose to shore up the midfield, but the Irish striker should be back alongside strike partner Steven Fletcher, who added a sixth league goal of the season with a header against the Gunners.

After a 2-1 home win over Sunderland on December 4, Wolves had lost 4-1 against Manchester United and 2-1 to Stoke City before recovering to secure draws against Norwich and Arsenal.

Just two points and a place above relegation-threatened Wigan, Wolves will be desperate for an away win, having proved victorious just once on the road this season.

Second-last in the league, Bolton have conceded a league-worst 41 goals and McCarthy will be hoping Wolves can complete a sweep of the bottom clubs having already beaten Wigan and Blackburn.

After a 2-0 loss to Newcastle United on Boxing Day saw them to their eighth loss in nine league games, Bolton manager Owen Coyle will be hoping his players can turn it around against Wolves.

“At the Reebok, we have to start picking points up. Away from home we have taken nine points from some difficult matches, but our home record is not good enough and it needs to improve,” Coyle said after the defeat.

“The players need to go out there and believe in what they are doing and we need to stop letting chances to pick points up pass us by.”

Former Wolves midfielder Mark Davies will be itching to get one over his former club as he looks to feed forward Ivan Klasnic.

The Croatian has been a lone bright spot up front for Bolton, netting seven goals and providing four assists this campaign.

Bolton have not won since their 5-0 drubbing of Stoke City at the Reebok on November 6, but a victory over Wolves could see them out of the drop zone.
