(GSM) – Serbia will take on Germany with the knowledge they can’t lose or it will be all over for them after two matches at the World Cup. The Serbians can’t afford any more missteps after their 1-0 loss against Ghana in the first match.

A real contrast with Germany who had a perfect start of the tournament, beating Australia 4-0. Die Mannschaft really impressed against the Socceroos and will be very confident going into their second match. Despite their excellent performance against the Aussies, Bayern München forward Thomas Müller tempered the high expectations ahead of their second group clash.

“The international press are heaping praise on us,” said Müller.

“When you play well you are everyone’s darling, but if we lose 2-0 to Serbia they will tear us apart, so we need to keep our feet on the ground.

“All we have done is get off to a good start. We haven’t really won anything yet and certainly not qualified for the next phase.

“We are not the fantastic team which everyone makes us out to be.

“But we have every reason to look forward to the Serbia game with quiet confidence. It will be a different type of game as they desperately need a win.”

Both countries will be able to play in their best composition as there are no injuries or suspensions to report. Milan Jovanovic is likely to start for the Serbians. The striker is aware of the toough task that’s in front of him and his teammates but he also knows everything is possible at the World Cup.

“Germany were very impressive against Australia,” Jovanovic said.

“They have made the biggest impact at the World Cup so far.

“They are like a machine, they have seven players going forward.

“If we want to upset them we will have to show no fear and play the best we can because we face a better team.”
