PSG set for summer shopping spree

Paris Saint-Germain will have around €100 million to spend in the summer transfer window and France Football claims the Saints will spend the money on just four players.

The French giants first want to sign a world-class striker and they are planning a summer swoop for Arsenal striker Robin van Persie.

Should the Gunners refuse to negotiate the sale of their star player, the Saints will turn their attention to Gonzalo Higuain.

Montpellier forward Olivier Giroud is another player that was linked with a move to Parc des Princes of late.

As far as midfield is concerned, PSG boss Carlo Ancelotti is eager to sign his former player Kaka, who looks set to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season.

On top of that, the Saints will attempt to sign two more defenders, both of whom could come from Serie A.

As the French newspaper reports, Udinese duo Mauricio Isla and Mehdi Benatia are widely tipped to join Paris Saint-Germain in the summer.
