Real Madrid interested in Mendy

According to a recent report from Marca, Ferland Mendy from Lyon is believed to be high on the wish list of Spanish giants Real Madrid this summer. The 23 year old has been with the French club since back in 2017, and also made his international debut for France last year. Zinedine Zidane is believed to be a big admirer of the full-back and has been for quite some time now, which is said to be the primary factor behind the interest. The youngster has been able to showcase a growing maturity with Lyon over the course of the last few months, and has been really influential in guiding them to third place in the Ligue 1 table.

Big changes are expected to come at the Bernabeu over the course of the next few months as we’ve come to realise, with Zidane making it very clear that he’s going to be bringing in a lot of new faces.
