According to multiple reports, Adam Wharton will be looking to move on from Crystal Palace this summer, and a number of clubs are said to be watching the situation closely. Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool are the three mentioned most frequently in that aspect, but the Premier League trio of giants now faces the possibility of Real Madrid entering the race as well, as reported by AS.
At this stage, the 15-time Champions League/Cup winners haven’t decided on a primary target to boost their midfield ranks, there are several names on their list, but Wharton is now in the mix too.
At the age of 22, the Palace man is showing great maturity, anchoring the midfield for both his club and England, and he’s set to play an important role for the Three Lions at the World Cup this year.
With three years left on his contract, the South London club are in a strong position to demand a large fee, and it’s been said that they hope to cash in around €100million for his services.
