Rummenigge: There will be no sales in January

Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has revealed that the club will not be selling any players in January.

There are some players who are not satisfied with their status at Alianz Arena, namely Croats Danijel Pranjic and Ivica Olic, but Rummenigge says they will not be allowed to leave.

“We will not sell any players (this winter),” Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told club’s official website.

“The coach does not want it and I think that he is right.”

Rummenigge believes that Bayern already have a pretty small squad and cannot afford to lose any more players.

“With 20 outfield players, we have a relatively small squad. We are at the limit.

”I hope we will still be in all three competitions after the winter break and we will need at least a team of this size.”
