Schweinsteiger: Bayern ´better quality´ than Dortmund

Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger believes the Bavarian club will always have a superior team to Borussia Dortmund.

Dortmund won the Bundesliga title in 2010/11 and are considered to be leaders Bayern’s biggest rivals this campaign.

But Schweinsteiger believes Dortmund are clearly inferior, and it is Bayern that ultimately hold the destination of the Bundesliga title in their grasp.

“We know that Dortmund have a good team, but I think that Bayern will always have a better quality team. It is always ultimately up to us as to how the title will be decided,” Schweinsteiger told Kicker.

“Bayern always have such a competitive team that we not only dominate in the Bundesliga, but also can be successful on the European level.”

Unlike Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund failed to reach the knockout stages of the Champions League this term.
