Early Serie A pace-setters Udinese will put their form to the test when they travel to Milan on Wednesday.

Udinese, with two wins from their two matches this season, tackle Massimiliano Allegri’s side which has taken just one point.

Udinese have beaten Fiorentina at home and Lecce away, both by 2-0 margins.

Manager Francesco Guidolin still believes there is room for improvement in his team but he praised his defence which still has to concede a league goal this season.

“I want to give credit to the team and I am happy, but we can still improve,” Guidolin said after the win over Fiorentina.

“Antonio Di Natale was sharp and the defence has been strong for a while.”

Milan’s 3-1 loss to unbeaten Napoli , for whom Edinson Cavani hit a hat-trick, has increased the pressure on Allegri.

“We’re not worried,” Allegri said.

“We all have to relax, know we are a big club who can have a couple of setbacks in terms of result, but the performances were decent.”

“The only concern is that we conceded five goals in the first two Serie A rounds.”

Roma goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg is in doubt for the home clash with Siena after being knocked unconscious at the San Siro.

The Roma goalkeeper rushed off his line and was accidentally kicked in the right temple by Lucio in the opening minutes of the 0-0 draw.

The Dutch international lost consciousness for about 10 minutes and was stretchered off with a neck brace.

Another player in injury trouble is Fiorentina’s Italy international Alberto Gilardino.

Gilardino is awaiting the results of scans on his left knee which he injured in a tackle with Udinese’s Samir Handanovic.

Fiorentina, who kicked off the season with a 2-0 win over Bologna, are at home to Parma on Wednesday.

Other matches see Lazio travel to Cesena, who are still looking for their first point, leaders Napoli visit Chievo, Genoa host Catania and Juventus welcome the visit of second-bottom Bologna.

Struggling Atalanta visit Lecce, newcomers Novara host Inter while Cagliari will try to hang on to their 100 percent record at Palermo.
