Sevilla have bid rejected for Serbian winger

Serbian daily newspaper Sportski Zurnal claims that Sevilla have failed in a late bid for Crvena Zvezda winger Luka Adzic.

After the player’s agent hinted that his client could leave the club this winter, los Rojiblancos stepped up their interest in the winger, offering €1.5 million for his services.

However, the bid was swiftly rejected despite the fact that Adzic has less than a year left on his current contract.

Having shown a great deal of potential since coming through the youth ranks, the 19-year-old is also followed by Ajax and few more European clubs, meaning his current employers believe they can secure a better deal if they decide to sell.

Adzic made 14 league appearances this term, producing 1 goal and 2 assists in the process, while bagging a hat-trick in the only Cup outing this season.
