Inter Milan midfielder Dejan Stankovic believes his side can get their Serie A campaign back on track with a win over Catania on Saturday.
The Milan giants are hoping to pull away from the lower end of the table after claiming just four points from their opening five matches, but the 33-year-old expects a tough test in Sicily.
“We must restart with serenity and with determination,” Stankovic told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“We have a tough programme of games from now until next month so we need to get things right.”
The Serbian went on to praise new coach Claudio Ranieri and said the focus is on gaining maximum points from their southern excursion.
“Things have started well with Ranieri, even though we had a strange game against Napoli (a 3-0 loss at home),” Stankovic said.
“But almost two weeks have passed since then and so we must look forward.”
“A tough match awaits us against Catania. It has always been a tough place to go to, but we just want to win.”
