Strachan reckons United are better than Brazil

Celtic gaffer Gordon Strachan believes Manchester United are better than France, Italy and Brazil.

The Scottish side lost 3-0 at Old Trafford in the Champions League this week.

The Hoops boss told the Sunday Mail: “I was speaking to Gary Caldwell, Stephen McManus and Shunsuke Nakamura after the match. Gary and Stephen have played against France and Italy and Naka against Brazil.

“I asked them to tell me where United rank compared to the national teams and they told me United are better than any national side. A million miles better.”

He added: “They have it all. Did you see the size and strength of them? Did you see the workrate of Carlos Tevez when he came on? They can also all make that 10 or 15-yard pass. United destroy you if you give the ball away.”
