Matias Suarez says he will not leave Anderlecht during the January transfer window, regardless of interest from rival clubs.

The Argentine forward has been linked with a move to Arsenal, but Suarez said not even the English Premier League giants can tempt him into leaving the Belgian First Division leaders mid-way through the season.

“I will not leave Anderlecht in the winter transfer window, not even if Arsenal make a move for me,” Suarez told Sporza.

“I want to help the club achieve their goals this season. Things have been going pretty well, and we can achieve some great things. I don’t want to let the club down now. If I leave Anderlecht, it won’t be during the winter break.”

The 23-year-old Suarez has a contract with Anderlecht until June 2015, and has scored 14 goals in all competitions this campaign.
