Thomas Meunier linked with PSG exit

Paris Saint-Germain full-back Thomas Meunier appears to be nearing closer to Parc des Princes exit following a clash with head coach Unai Emery.

In spite of performing admirably for both club and country last season, the 26-year-old has been playing second fiddle to Dani Alves this term.

Meunier is clearly unhappy with his current status in the squad and head coach Unai Emery has added fuel to fire with his treatment of the player of late.

Namely, the full-back was handed a start in the Coupe de France match against Marseille despite asking not to play due to gastroenteritis, and the boss refused to sub him off even though Meunier felt unwell during the game.

The highly rated footballer was furious with the coach and confronted him after the match ended, so we would not be surprised if he requests to be transferred in the summer transfer window.

This will be music to ears of quite a few top European clubs with Meunier impressing in 2018 World Cup qualifying, having produced 5 goals and 7 assists in eight appearances for Belgium.
