Tottenham go after Ndombele

According to a recent report from France Football, Tottenham Hotspur are putting in a big shift in their attempt to complete the signing of Tanguy Ndombele from French club Lyon. The midfielder has been heavily linked to a series of clubs across European football over the last few years, and he is believed to be valued at around £60 million. Spurs are in need of some new faces during the summer transfer window after failing to bring anyone in last year. The impending departure of Christian Eriksen isn’t going to help matters either, as Spurs prepare for the Champions League final this Saturday.

Mauricio Pochettino looks as if he’s going to be remaining in North London with Tottenham, and if that’s the case, players of Ndombele’s calibre could be tempted to make the move over to the club based on his reputation alone. Either way, though, it’s going to be a pretty busy summer for him.
