With the European Championship qualifiers getting back underway this week, it appears that the race for automatic qualification in Group H will be going right down to the wire.

Remarkably with just a single point separating the leading four candidates, there are plenty of intriguing EURO 24 betting markets that are available from across Group H.

In a fortnight that could prove to be another rollercoaster affair from across Group H, we have taken an in-depth look at what could be on the horizon and some of the most eye-catching European Championship betting tips that are available over the next fortnight.

Who is leading the chase in Group H?

While Denmark might have opened their European Championship qualifying adventure tipped as a standout contender to wrap up top spot in Group H, the Danes will be more than aware that they have a real battle on their hands.

Although Group H might return this week with just a single point separating the top-four contenders, it is a high-flying Slovenia who are currently leading the chase and smelling the chance to spring a major qualifying upset over the final two qualifying sessions.

Continuing to gain a string of praise during what has quickly become an iconic EURO 24 qualifying adventure this year, Matjaz Kek’s squad can still be found priced as high as 6/1 with Pribet to hold off Denmark’s late charge and punch their major tournament return as Group H winners.

The Group H Players to Keep an Eye on

With it looking like the race for EURO 24 qualification could go right down to the wire, we have taken a glance at two attacking stars who will be looking to make a real statement over the next fortnight.

Rasmus Hojlund – Denmark & Manchester United

If Denmark are to mount a late charge and clinch their ticket to EURO 24 as Group H winners, then attacking talisman Rasmums Hojlund will have a crucial role to play over the next fortnight.

Completing a big-money move to Premier League giants Manchester United this summer and already notching three Champions League strikes in just his opening two appearances, the 20-year-old has also gained a real reputation for his free-scoring performances on the international stage.

in fact, along with bagging a famous hat-trick against Finland back on March 23rd, Hojlund has wracked up six Group H goals in as many appearances this year.

Benjamin Sesko – Slovenia & RB Leipzig

Continuing to gain a string of praise and marking their qualifying return this week leading the chase at the top of the Group H table, much of Slovenia’s success this year has come thanks to Benjamin Sesko’s free-scoring performances in the final third.

Enjoying what has been a hugely successful start to life with German heavyweights B Leipzig, the 20-year-old has bagged six goals for club and country since opening up the 2023/24 campaign.

Likewise, getting on the scoresheet as Slovenia stormed their way to a stunning 4-2 win against Northern Ireland last month, Sesko will certainly have another leading role to play over the next fortnight.

Group H Match of the Week & Available Odds

Marking their return with their goal difference keeping them behind a high-flying Slovenia, it is no secret that Denmark will be looking to make a major statement of intent when they return to Group H duties on Saturday night.

Last seen signing off September’s international break with a rugged 1-0 victory away at Finland, the Danes have collected 10 points from their last four qualifying appearances and they have bounced back from their sluggish start to proceedings.

However, while Denmark might be tipped as a landslide favourite when they return to Copenhagen this weekend, the impressive Kazakhstan have already proven that they can cause some major headaches.

Remarkably sat just a single point adrift of breaking their way into the top-two and still priced as high as 40/1 with BetUS to punch a maiden ticket to the European Championships, Kazakhstan also caused a heavyweight upset on March 26th as they claimed a 3-2 victory against Denmark.

Slumping to that infamous 3-2 loss when they made the trip over to Kazakhstan back in March, Denmark will know that they can not afford another public slip-up on Saturday night.

Still priced as the leading contender to wrap up top spot in Group H and pencilled in at 4/11 with Vegas Land to eventually leapfrog Slovenia, Denmark will be excited by the prospect over making a return to home soil this week.

In fact, the Danes have suffered just a single EURO qualifying defeat in Copenhagen from any of their previous 18 straight showdowns – a run that stems all the way back to October 2007.

While Kazakhstan might be in the midst of a remarkable qualifying romp, Magomed Adiyev’s high-flying squad will be bracing themselves for a stern examination on Saturday night.
