In the 88th minute of the Serie A match between Lazio and Napoli at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday, Napoli’s Pasquale Mazzocchi appeared to try to stamp on the foot of Lazio’s Adam Marusic. Marusic responded fiercely and a scuffle broke out, resulting in both players being sent off by referee Davide Massa.
The incident forced Lazio to finish the game with nine men, as Tijjani Noslin got his marching orders seven minutes before for a second bookable offence.
