French daily newspaper L’Equipe is reporting that Valencia are weighing up summer bid for Lyon defender Mouctar Diakhaby.
The 21-year-old has been on los Che radar for quite some time now and they seem to have decided to make their interest concrete.
After impressing last season, Diakhaby only managed 12 league appearances this term, meaning that les Gones may consider selling him in the summer transfer window.
The centre-back has been an important member of the France Under-21 side, but he has yet to be handed senior debut at international level.
Valencia appear to be serious about bringing him to Mestalla in the summer, as they prepare for the return to UEFA Champions League.
