Marco Verratti says he does not regret his decision to leave Pescara for Paris Saint-Germain in the recent transfer window.
Serie A champions Juventus were eager to add the Italy international to their ranks, but eventually missed out on the 19-year-old as he preferred a transfer to the Ligue 1 giants.
“Juventus? I have made the decision to join Paris Saint-Germain and I’m very happy at this club. I have no regrets about my choice and it’s already starting to pay off,” Verratti told Sky Sport Italia.
“I am not thinking about what could have been had I made a different choice. I’m focused on the here and now. I’m enjoying my stay at Paris and I’m happy to give my all for the club.
“I am very happy with (Zlatan) Ibrahimovic’s compliments. He’s helping me on a daily basis and gives a lot of good advice.”
Verratti has a contract with PSG until the end of the 2016/17 season.
