Vidal: I rejected Milan to join Juventus

Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal has revealed that he rejected an offer from Milan earlier this summer.

The Chilean midfielder was also wanted by Bayern Munich, but Bayer Leverkusen refused to do business with the Bundesliga rivals.

Vidal was later purchased by Juventus, but the player now reveals that he could have ended up at Milan.

“Did Milan want me in the summer? Yes, but I chose Juventus because they have won more titles in Italy and they have more ambition,” Vidal told Tuttosport.

Juventus and Milan are set to face each other at Juventus Arena on Sunday evening and Vidal is relishing the clash.

“Certain matches are fascinating and if we beat Milan then other teams will look at us differently.”
