Vilanova hails memorable Barcelona

Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova said the current Barca team will go down in history as one of the best teams ever.

Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho said recently the Catalans have not dominated the past few years as they failed to win two consecutive Champions League titles, but Vilanova feels the Blaugrana will certainly be remembered for what they have achieved in the past four seasons.

“This team has done spectacular things. I don’t know whether we’ve established hegemony over the rest, but we have certainly won a lot of titles,” Vilanova was quoted on the club’s official website.

“We won’t be remembered just for the titles we won, though, but also for how we did it. This Barcelona will forever be remembered.”

Barcelona have won the La Liga three times in the past four seasons, while also coming out victorious in the Champions League twice under Pep Guardiola.
