Arsenal striker Theo Walcott suffered an injury in training and won’t be fit in time for England’s friendly with Germany on Wednesday.

The youngster hurt his shoulder and might also miss Arsenal’s Premiership game with Manchester City next weekend.

The news comes at a very bad moment for England manager Fabio Capello, who already had severe injury worries to deal with as several star players are unavailable for this clash.

The list of absentees includes Wayne Rooney, Steven Gerrard, Rio Ferdinand, Joe Cole and Frank Lampard.
