Arsenal are eyeing a shock move for former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Kevin Prince Boateng, according to the Express.
The 27 year has been with Bundesliga side Schalke for the past eighteen months, where he has racked up fifty-one appearances in all competitions and scored seven goals.
Prior to his move to Gelsenkirchen, he spent three years in Italy wth Milan while he has also played for Genoa, Portsmouth, Borussia Dortmund and Hertha Berlin.
During his time at White Hart Lane, he played just twenty-four times while internationally he has been capped fifteen times for Ghana, scoring twice.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is keen on adding a powerful playmaker to his squad when the transfer window reopens, and has identified Boateng as the man to fill the void.
Third place Arsenal travel to relegation threatened Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday evening, and can be backed at 8/15 to take all three points.
