AC Milan on Tuesday denied they are in talks with AS Roma over a possible swap deal involving France centre-back Philippe Mexes.
Several Italian newspapers said Milan would exchange international full-backs Daniele Bonera of Italy and Slovakia's Marek Jankulovski for Mexes, who joined the Rome club in 2004.
“The news given in several newspapers, in which it was claimed Mexes would come to Milan in exchange for Bonera and Jankulovski, is totally false,” said a Milan statement.
