AC Milan to offer Ibrahimovic a contract

Italian giants AC Milan are determined to lure Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic back to San Siro, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

Club chairman Silvio Berlusconi was heavily criticized when he sold the likes of Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva to PSG four years ago and it appears that he now wants to make things right.

With the veteran striker out of contract at Parc des Princes in the summer, AC Milan are readying a lucrative offer for his services.

Berlusconi believes that Ibrahimovic can still perform at the highest level and wants him to help the Rossoneri return to old glory days, but winning the chase for his signature will not be an easy task.

Namely, the 34-year-old also has offers from English Premier League, while he would only consider returning to AC Milan if they can secure Champions League qualification.

The Rossoneri currently sit eight points behind top 3 positions and are 16/1 chance to clinch a CL berth.
