Emmanuel Adebayor had two options this summer, either stay at Arsenal or move to AC Milan. Now it looks like the latter option has been closed for the Togolese striker.

Arsenal were reluctant in selling the player to the Italian giants and set the asking price for the player a little too high for Milan’s liking. As a result, Carlo Ancelotti has decided to sign Brazilian playmaker Ronaldinho instead.

Following the completion of Ronaldinho’s move to Italy, AC Milan president Adriano Galliani has made a statement on the club’s official site saying that they will make no more additions to their squad this summer.

“Milan’s transfer campaign is finished with Ronaldinho,” Said Galliani according to Setanta Sports.

“But there will be no more new arrivals, absolutely.”

Apart from Ronaldinho, AC Milan have already added Arsenal’s Mathieu Flamini, Barcelona’s Gianluca Zambrotta and Marco Boriello - among others - to their squad.

Didn’t Galliani say they were interested in Adebayor ONLY? Don’t know why anyone even reads these rumours. Agree with Dave though - one half decent season does not make him Henry or Bergkamp

adebayor is a good striker but will never succed striking alone in england. Asernal should add another striker to support him and asernal will play a good football but not only entertain.

I agree with dave andhaper, Just 30goals out of 500 chances does not mean we should pay him 135000 a week! Drogba,Henry,Benzema and other much better goal scorers does not earn that much. So he should shut de fuck up and play or arsen should sell him to Readinds!

Got something to say?
