Competition: Premier League
Market: Bournemouth to suffer relegation
Odds: 5/2 @ Betfair

Newly-promoted AFC Bournemouth are having an indifferent season following promotion from the Championship in the summer. The Cherries are currently 15th in the Premier League table after eight games, but have only eight points for their troubles so far. Eddie Howe’s men have won just twice this season, and have kept only one clean sheet.

Bournemouth were expected to struggle in the top flight, and they were in good shape a couple of weeks ago after beating Sunderland to go 11th in the table. However, dropped points to the likes of Stoke City and Watford has seen the Cherries slide down the table. They lock horns with league leaders Manchester City this weekend, and defeat could see them edge even closer to the relegation zone.

Along with Howe’s men, West Bromwich Albion, Watford, Aston Villa, Sunderland and Newcastle United are being tipped to struggle this season. Nevertheless, Betfair are giving odds of 5/2 for Bournemouth to be one of the three sides to suffer relegation given their injury crisis. With so many key players out of action, Bournemouth could well suffer on the pitch and find themselves in trouble in a matter of weeks.
