Agent denies Benzema-Pato swap

(GSM) – The agent of Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has dismissed claims that his client is moving to Milan in exchange for Alexandre Pato.

Benzema has struggled to make an impact at Real after moving from Olympique Lyon last summer and many feel he might be sold at the end of this season.

Speaking to calciomercato.it, Benzema’s agent, Karim Djaziri said: “I have not read any of these rumours.

“The only thing I can say is that Karim is very happy at Real Madrid.

“I have not heard anything about this and I don’t usually pay attention to transfer rumours.

“I want to underline that Benzema is happy where he is,” Djaziri concluded.

Pato got Madrid’s attention when he scored twice in Milan’s 3-2 victory at the Bernabeu in October.
