Angel Di Maria nears PSG exit

French daily newspaper L’Equipe understands that Paris Saint-Germain hotshot Angel Di Maria could leave Parc des Princes in January.

The Argentine was on the verge of joining Barcelona in the summer, but the two clubs eventually failed to agree on a transfer fee.

Di Maria is believed to be disappointed that PSG chiefs considered selling him in the summer and he now wants out.

The Saints plan to offload the Argentine in an attempt to balance the books after splashing out on Neymar, but the fact that he already represented the club in the Champions League could prove to be an issue.

Di Maria made just one substitute appearance in this year’s UCL, while featuring in 5 Ligue 1 matches.

Since joining PSG from Manchester United two years ago, the 29-year-old managed 16 league goals.
