Arsenal want Niang

According to Tuttosport, Arsenal are interested in bringing M’Baye Niang to the Emirates. The 23-year-old, who plays for Torino over in Italy, has been at the World Cup in Russia over the last few weeks where he’s been impressing as a member of the Senegal first team. While the African side may have wound up being eliminated from the group stage they certainly gave a good account of themselves, with Niang being one of the stand-out stars of the tournament for them.

The Gunners have taken big strides towards improving their squad since Unai Emery officially replaced Arsene Wenger earlier in the summer, but despite their interest, there’s no guarantee of them landing Niang’s signature with several other clubs also being tipped to make a play for him. Monaco, Nice and Marseille all want to bring him to France, with Everton being the other representative from the English Premier League.
